Vincent Emery, Founder

  • Early Life & Education
Vincent P. Emery was born in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, and now resides in Framingham, Massachusetts. From a young age, Vincent was dedicated to his education and professional growth. He completed his undergraduate studies at St. Gallen University in Switzerland, receiving an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Economics in April 1998. He then pursued a Master of Arts (HSG) in Law, graduating in September 2003. Furthering his education, Vincent attended the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, Massachusetts, where he earned a Master of Business Administration in 2009. While at Babson, he served as Vice-President of Public Relations for the Babson Francophone Society, President of the European Club, and co-founded a conference on “Challenges for Corporate Entrepreneurship.

Vincent Emery has held several notable positions in the financial sector:
  • Defi Gestion Inc., Cantonal Bank of Vaud, Lausanne, Switzerland (2003-2007): As a Private Equity Analyst, Vincent managed a portfolio valued at $162 million, achieving a 14.5% Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and ranking sixth in Europe from 2004 to 2006. He spearheaded the fund of funds with a $50 million capital and played a pivotal role in structuring the "Initiative Capital Romandie" venture fund.
  • ABB Inc. BU Power Automation, Baden, Switzerland (2002): As a Market Analyst, he supported global research for power plant development and created sales strategies for Swiss incineration plants.
  • American Heritage Management Inc., New York, NY (2001): Working as a Stockbroker Assistant under financial guru Heiko Thieme, he contributed to managing the American Heritage Fund, which was the top-performing U.S. fund in the spring of 2001.
  • Porter Investment Group Inc., San Francisco, CA (2000): As an Investment Analyst, he conducted market research and facilitated the IPO for Alliance Healthcare.
  • GSL Inc., St. Gallen, Switzerland (1998-2002): As a Co-Founder and Project Manager & Business Development Officer, he grew the company from 3 to 24 employees, managed $35 million in assets, and developed strategic partnerships.

Vincent is actively involved in sports, including swimming, skiing, snow biking, tennis, soccer, golf, and ice hockey. He is the 1st tenor in a male-voice choir and serves as an elected official in Framingham, Massachusetts. He is also the Chairman of the 2029 National Senior Games Boston bid committee and served in the Swiss Army’s intelligence service for ten years.
